Tokyo 2005/2006

At the Nanotech fair in Tokyo, Japan, in 2005, we implemented an exhibition stand for the Elmarco company, which presented the Nanospider LAB, the world’s first machine for the industrial production of nanofibers, in its world premiere. Nanofiber is a Czech specialty, a license for industrial and laboratory equipment that is based on Nanospider technology, invented by a team of the Technical University of Liberec led by Oldřich Jirsák. Mr. Ladislav Mareš purchased a license for industrial and laboratory equipment based on Nanospider technology for his company Elmarco. Since 2005, this company has been the only one in the world to offer it. Nanospider is a unique technology that enables the industrial production of non-woven textiles made of nanofibers, i.e. fibers with a diameter of 20 to 500 nm. These fibers are not visible under ordinary microscopes, their diameter is smaller than the wavelength of light. The use of these materials is very wide. They can be used for filtration, in healthcare, automotive, energy and other industries such as construction, automotive, cosmetics, environmental protection, protective equipment, etc. We repeated the successful cooperation with this Czech company at the same fair the following year.
