Three, a new exhibition chronicling the creative journeys of three designers who explored the design potential of three beautiful but underutilized American hardwoods such as red oak, cherry and maple. Each of the three exhibiting designers represents one Nordic country: Anne Brandhøj – Denmark, Pia Högman – Sweden and Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng – Norway.

All were selected by AHEC for their affinity with natural materials, their commitment to sustainable production, and the beauty and poetry of their work. They were given one of the hardwoods and a free hand to explore their creative potential in any way they wanted.
